    It already is hard enough for people to figure out what ingredients are in the everyday products that we consume without the help of the Scan Halal app. Here are what some of our users feel when they go shopping without the app to help guide them.

    آسیه ایمل: “Felt lost.”

    (We’ll help guide you all the time!)

    Nida Malick: “I almost feeling lost.”

    (We are proud that we help guide you!)

    Shaziya Rahman Nadeem: “Slapped my head.”

    (Hopefully she did not hurt herself!)

    Sabah Shoaib Shaikh: “The last time i went without Scan Halal, i almost blundered.”

    (Everyone makes mistake, don’t worry about it!)

    Yara Zayed: “The last time I went without Scan Halal I almost fainted!!!! hahahaha”

    (Hopefully you didn’t!)

    @HelpYhereafter: “Scanned haram looool.”

    This is only a handful of people that we try to help everyday to stay on the straight path of halal eating. InshAllah we will be able to help the entire Ummah around the world soon.

    The Scan Halal App

    Do you ever wonder when shopping, if what you’re buying is truly halal? Going through a lot of trouble to find out and wasting precious time during shopping?

    Many Muslims face this challenge of not-knowing these confusing, not to mention misleading food labels. Methylchloroisothiazolinone. Really???

    Now you can simply scan your grocery items using the “Scan Halal App” on your smartphone to find out right away if the product contains haram ingredients.

    The app identifies the exact source of the ingredient making it easier for Muslims to make quick informed choices. The team at scan halal directly communicates with manufactures to verify the sources of ingredients i.e. if a product has gelatin or something as vague as enzymes listed on the food label, it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s its haram because the source could either be derived from plant, animal, or synthetic sources.

    The app is available for free on Iphone and Android devices and is very easy to use. Simply scan the barcode of the item using your smartphones camera and than scan halal will do the rest!
